I use this to learn handwriting skills. The app detects your handwriting and converts to suggested characters in chinese and english. Pretty neat. And also shows the pinyin and definition. Also translates a full sentence word or phrase and plays the audio in english and Chinese.

I try many many apps and desktop software and I can say this is by far the best-in-class product in terms of ease of use, accuracy, relevance, and uniqueness. Once I use it I got hooked and "additive" to it. I use it on a daily basis for my professional work and it helps me greatly. Thanks for creating this product!

Bravolol mobile app has a clean, simple, intuitive interface with good handwriting recognition. Its vocabulary is decent but not comprehensive. Its drill down structure from Chinese characters to English is good, but lacks the ability to flow into another search; you have to back up and start anew.

It helps me understand the meaning of the word also helped pronunciation. Very useful app.

Ive been living in Beijing for two months and there is no faster way to find the word I need when I need it. The dictionary is offline, so I can use it whenever I need it!

Uninstalled my previous app

It used to be quick and easy to use on the spot. Nowadays when you launch, it takes a good 15 seconds to start up. Why does it need such a long time to boot? And it also doesnt provide easily navigable explanations anymore the way it used to. Deleted..

Love this app! Now I can polish my Chinese, including the correct pronunciations.

I hate to be so negative about an app I used to love but, well, it just not very good anymore. Its now more difficult to use and (most importantly) it doesnt come up with pin yin when you type English anymore! In other words, you need a working knowledge of Chinese characters to use this app now. Used to be great but sadly, its not anymore. Im not the only reviewer who said this. Hopefully these negative reviews will bring back the app we loved. Until then. Deleted.
